**Position Overview**

We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team. We are specifically looking for someone who can support a participant living with Prader-Wili sydnrome. The supports will be varied, but with a common goal to enhance the ability of the individual to live independently. Activities taken place throughout the support shift as follows:
Engaging in meaningful activities together to help social awareness and build social capacity.

Going to the local park for a walk

Assisting with appointments, daily tasks and meal times.

Assisting and supporting the participant to the Gym

Domestic support

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to NDIS participant, including assistance with daily living activities.
- Support participant at home with domestic tasks
- Facilitate social and community engagement activities.
- Implement individual support plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Maintain accurate progress notes.
- Report incidents where necessary
- Collaborate with team members and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate III in Disability or equivalent qualification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory).
- Working With Children Check (WWC) (mandatory).
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Intellectual Disability, ASD, ADHD and OCD
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $41.00 - $54.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
