**About the Opportunity**

Due to consistent growth across our business, we have a fantastic opportunity available for a highly motivated, customer focused 1st Year Apprentice to join our high performing team in Seven Hills NSW 2147.

With appropriate guidance and support you will perform workshop tasks as directed and in line with your apprenticeship skill level.

This may include:

- Reading and interpreting job specifications, technical drawings and schematics
- Performing bench work including assembly and disassembly, modifications, cleaning, measuring, inspection and testing
- Installing, testing, repairs and rebuilds
- Operating hand tools and lifting equipment etc
- Making sketches or manufacturing parts to drawings
- Maintain equipment, tools and work area
- Maintain documentation and service records as per procedure
- Achieve at least minimum competency requirements for relevant off-the-job training program
- Achieve chargeable labour recovery targets
- Perform work safely and comply with WHS procedures.

- Demonstrated high levels of initiative and self-motivation
- Good mechanical aptitude and an enjoyment for technical work
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine desire to learn and develop.
