Position Overview:
Kikuchi Sushi is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team as a Sushi Maker/Cashier. As a Sushi Maker/Cashier, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by preparing high-quality sushi dishes and providing efficient cashier services. Your passion for sushi craftsmanship and customer service will contribute to the success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
Sushi Making:

- Prepare a variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and other sushi dishes in accordance with our menu standards and recipes.
- Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized sushi station, adhering to hygiene and food safety guidelines.
- Display creativity and precision in sushi presentation, paying attention to aesthetics and taste.

Customer Service:

- Greet customers warmly and engage in friendly interactions to enhance their dining experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when requested.
- Operate the cash register and handle monetary transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a courteous and timely manner.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

- Regularly clean and sanitize the sushi station, work area, and dining tables to ensure a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and maintain hygiene standards.

Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with fellow team members, including chefs, servers, and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate order preparation and service flow.
- Inventory and Stock Management:

- Monitor ingredient levels and notify the management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure freshness.

Qualifications:

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings.
