- Full Time; $35.17 - $36.04 per hour (This is negotiable according to experience)

**About the role**
Your role will primarily be as an Educational Leader, and to secondly assist the Centre Manager to lead and support the Educators, children and families in YMCA Tarneit Early Learning Centre.

As a motivated and customer focused leader, your role will involve:

- Working in consultation with Team Leaders and Educators regarding all aspects of program planning
- Promoting a positive organisational culture and building a professional learning community
- Leading the development of the curriculum and ensure the establishment of clear goals and expectations for teaching and learning
- Planning and developing short and long term goals to strengthen the operations of the Centre

The newly appointed Educational Leader will be provided with ongoing professional development training specifically designed for Educational Leaders. This will also be facilitated with 8 hours of non-contact time per week to specifically carry out the Educational Leader role.

This is a full time role with an hourly salary of $35.17 - $36.04 (negotiable according to experience).

**About you**
You will be a passionate Educational Leader committed to delivering a superior service for children, their parents and educators. You will:

- Possess the ability to positively network and build effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- Be able to inform and imbed learning and development theories and curriculum approaches
- Have the ability to motivate and inspire the team to achieve set goals and outcomes
- Possess excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to delegate, prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

**Qualifications and Licences**
- Tertiary Qualification in ECEC
- Minimum 5 years experience in the ECEC sector
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification

YMCA Tarneit ELC is a 120 place Centre located in the brand new estate of Riverdale Village. Our vibrant Early Learning Centre incorporates modern and progressive teaching practices which embeds the Early Learning Years Framework. Working in alignment with YMCA Victoria's philosophy, our ELC setting prides itself in teaching a calm and structured learning environment where children are exposed to high quality education.
