Job Description Summary

The role of the Marketing Operations Support role is to support the Senior Product Managers by being responsible for the forecast and planning responsibilities, backorder management and managing all the operational aspects of the product portfolios to directly contribute to the achievement of budgeted sales, gross profit and OIBT targets for IDS for Australia/New Zealand.

**Responsibilities**:
- Drive and optimise product management operationally through the successful execution of forecasting and planning, inventory and backorder management and product marketing collateral and asset management.- Represent each of the product portfolios in the S&OE meetings to review inventory levels/targets, forecast accuracy, current backorders and future potential stock outs.- Work with Product Managers to drive actions to mitigate risk on backorders, inventory overstock, expiring stock to meet overall inventory target levels.- Communication to leadership and finance on potential business risks associated with inventory and provisions.- Proactive communication to sales teams on potential stockouts and alternatives available to support customer needs within stockout period.- Provide approved formal customer communications on inventory updates for external distribution.- Provide relevant input for each of the product portfolios in the monthly IDS S&OP meetings.- Process review and optimisation of forecast and planning activities with Planning & Supply team to drive efficiencies and proactive problem solving.- Support each of the Product Managers with marketing collateral/assets approval process to ensure timely introduction to sales teams and customers.- Participate in Regional demand planning meetings, provide input on requirements for ANZ and ensure the demand plan is in line with financial budgets.- Ensure regular and timely submission of all reports as required financial updates and progress against strategic programs. Perform these analyses as seen as necessary for the efficient operation and control of the business.- Build positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders at both local and regional level. Stakeholders including Sales, Planning & Supply, Customer Service, Finance, Regulatory & QA and other teams to achieve objectives.

Required knowledge and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably with a degree in Business, Marketing or Supply Chain- Experience operations or supply and logistics (Essential)- Strong oral and written communication skills required.- Demonstrated process development and management skills.- Problem solving ability and demonstrated examples of innovative solutions.- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.- Marketing Planning, Forecasting and Execution- Marketing Communications- Proficient in Excel- Business and Financial Acumen- Problem solving and solutions focused.
