**The Role**

PLC is inviting interest for a part-time (0.55 FTE) fixed-term vacancy for Term 2, covering a staff member on long service leave.

The incumbent will teach English across years 7 to 11, as well as Year 11 Literature.

The role would suit a competent early years’ Teacher looking to make their mark in a leading independent girls’ school, or a seasoned Teacher who is perhaps seeking some work-life balance.

The incumbent will work closely with an accomplished, highly collaborative team of educators who are focused on creative, reflective development of curriculum and outcomes for our students.

**About You**

You will be a passionate English / Literature educator who has sound knowledge of current practice through AITSL standards, and the ability to teach creatively and with academic rigour.

You are passionate about your field of teaching, and can confidently guide, develop and nurture our students’ love of learning, whilst also understanding the need for strong classroom practice and the maintenance of high standards amongst our students.

You will represent a positive role model for young women, be able to relate well to students, colleagues and parents, and be committed to the integrity and Christian ethos of the College.
