MLC School is seeking a passionate and skilled Legal Studies & English Teacher to join our vibrant learning community on a permanent basis. This role comes as a result of growth in our Legal Studies cohort and increased extension classes in English. This is a unique opportunity to inspire young women to be fearless thinkers with moral courage and compassion—empowered to shape their own futures and the world around them.

**About the Role**

As a member of HSIE and English Departments, you will:

- Teach Year 11 and 12 Legal Studies (0.4 FTE)
- Teach Junior English classes (0.4 FTE).
- Design and deliver inclusive, engaging programs aligned with the School’s Learning and Teaching Framework.
- Foster student wellbeing and academic growth through differentiated learning and collaborative practice.
- Actively utilise and develop resources using the school's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Demonstrate a willingness to regularly update teaching and learning resources in alignment with current best practices and syllabus requirements.

**About You**
You are a proactive, collaborative and detail-oriented professional with:

- A degree in Law/Legal Studies/English and Secondary teaching and NESA accreditation.
- Experience teaching Legal Studies and English.
- A commitment to girls’ education and the values of MLC School and the Uniting Church.
