**Position Information**:
Sylvania High School is a comprehensive high school located in the Sutherland Shire and residing on the land of the Dharawal speaking people. The student population is approximately 740 drawn with approximately 55% EAL/D students. The staff are committed to sustaining a positive learning culture that has ensured the school is highly valued by the community. **Selection Criteria**:

- Approval to teach Industrial Technology - Timber (ITW) and; Years 7-8 Technology Mandatory (ITX)
- Capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, implement and deliver quality teaching programs in the Technology and Applied Studies (TAS) Faculty.
- Effective classroom management skills to create a classroom environment that is engaging, inclusive and fosters a culture of high expectations.
- Ability and enthusiasm in contributing to faculty and whole-school cultures focused on continual improvement
