Our people are the power behind everything that we do at MFG, with over 2500 employees around Australia and with over 300 stores we have a lot of hearts and minds driving our success every day. Our P&C team have an opportunity for a People Projects leader to drive new initiatives, identify and lead wide-reaching people-centric projects and support the delivery of the projects to ensure that they are on time and in budget. This role is a stand alone role with a focus on stakeholder engagement across our company.

As part of our drive to improve our internal people centric systems and processes we are looking for a project officer to own and manage our HRIS project across our People & Culture team.

**The People Projects Leader is responsible for**:
- Identifying and leading wide-reaching People projects on time and within budget, including but not limited to the People systems (HRIS) discovery and implementation and the Pay4U Compliance work stream
- Supporting day-to-day coordination of people activities and projects
- Developing, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures which improve efficiencies,
- Working with internal focus teams to understand business needs and system capability
More about You.
We are looking for a dynamic and professional people projects leader with a strong background in a high-volume environment.
- You will have 3+ years' experience within a similar role in HR related projects, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications in retail, operational, or service-related industry
- Ability to quickly learn and understand business processes, offer creative solutions to problems and maintain a point of view while supporting the ideas of others
- Ability to lead projects to completion
- Ability to define and create strong operational cultures
- Tertiary qualification in Business/Management preferred not essential
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, from initial justification through implementation and evaluation
- Working knowledge of POS & Time Attendance systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven organisational skills with the analytical ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and prioritise effectively
