**Description**:
The Assistant Director is an experienced Senior Educator who provides strong leadership support to the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations and successful running of the Centre. The Assistant Director works to support the team in the development and delivery of high-quality education and care, and actively mentors and develops the broader team. This role will be both on the floor supporting rooms and educators, 1/2 days off the floor supporting the centre director with the operation of the centre.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience/Skills**:

- Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent, or Early Childhood Teaching
- qualification
- Current Senior First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates
- State relevant Working with Children Check, Blue Card, or Safety Screening
- Current Child Protection Training
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with proven experience juggling a wide range of demands and
- priorities, and managing time effectively.

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience as an Assistant Director or Lead Educator
- Knowledge and experience with Qikkids and Educa (or similar equivalent
- platforms)
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Facebook.
