Your Role
The Lead Principal will be responsible for leading the following activities and undertake the following tasks:

- Work with regional and central office teams to provide high level support and advice to regional and school leaders, with a particular focus on curriculum implementation and differentiated support for inclusive, safe and supportive learning environments;
- Identify options to address capability development needs;
- Collaborate with regional leaders and team to interpret data and evidence in order to tailor support aligned to strategic system priorities and school improvement plans;
- Foster productive partnerships among teams in the region and State Schools Division, and with external stakeholders, to ensure continuous school improvement;
- Support the DDSW Regional Executive group to address emerging priorities and deliver timely responses; and
- Lead and promote shared understandings of transitions and wellbeing across identified school junctures for Norfolk Island Central School staff, parents and community.

**A mandatory requirement of this role is**:

- You must be a permanent employee of the department with a substantive teaching or classified officer role employed under Teaching in State Education Award - State 2016, have current full registration as a teacher and should be aware that temporary internal moves for the purposes of the department's payroll processes are referred to as internal secondments.
- Employees' engaged temporarily as Education Officer - Special Duties have a requirement of 36¼ hours per week attendance and arrangements as outlined in clause 7.4 of the Department of Education State School Teachers Certified Agreement 2019.
