Our Client is a B-Corp Bank seeking an enthusiastic Cyber Security Specialist to join our IT Services Department. Reporting to the Senior Manager Technology - Cyber Security and Risk you will be responsible for working with key staff and departments to produce information security assessments and to develop solutions to reduce risk. This will be achieved through reviewing, developing and maintaining IT Security Policies, Procedures and Processes and proposing solutions.

**Day to day you'll**:

- Draft, review and maintain IT Security Processes, Standards and Processes.
- Day to day monitoring and management of customer facing security platforms, including implementing changes to improve their effectiveness.
- Drive the day-to-day operation of IT Security in accordance with IT Security Management standards.
- Work with staff to produce information security assessments and to develop business solutions to manage information security risk.
- Analyse information management processes to identify security exposure and propose solutions.
- Implement security platforms and processes in accordance with IT Security Policy
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of security trends, processes, policies and industry developments

**Requirements**:
To be successful in this role, you will have most of the following skills and experience:

- Relevant tertiary qualification or 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- CISSP or CISM would be an advantage
- Knowledge of security principles and technologies relating to private and public cloud, banking systems, online & mobile banking.
- Awareness of in Project Management Methodologies (Prince2, Agile)
- Strong corporate information security experience.
- Functional Knowledge of security platforms including IPS, Web Application Firewalls and encryption standards.
- Experience in a project lead role.
- Familiar with IT Security frameworks such as ISO27001, PCI-DSS
- Aware of Australian Signals Directorate Standards & NIST frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality as required
