**About the role**

The Student and Academic Services Officer is responsible for providing high quality administrative and services support within the Institute across a broad range of academic and student services and administrative functions.

The position acknowledges the interdependence of student and academic related matters, the importance of front counter student facing activities and back-office administration. It requires a dedicated student focus to enhance best practice student experience and assist with enquiries from enrolled students.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to listen to client needs and provide clear information
- Excellent attention to detail, including proofreading and editing skills
- IT literacy (e.g. student information system or database, customer relationship management systems) and experience
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and manage work allocations
- Demonstrated awareness of a range of cultural perspectives and sensitive approaches relevant to our students
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a busy team environment and remain calm under pressure
- Previous experience in education industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Subcontract
