Coordinator Warranty and Reliability

**BTP** is looking for a Component Reliability & Support Officer for our Head office in **Hazelmere**. This focus of this role is to continually increase and maintain the reliability of BTP components by implementing corrective actions from failure analysis, warranty investigations, continuous improvement channels and from supporting customers through the provision of technical advice and feedback throughout the life of the component.

Supporting **Perenti’s Mining Services** division, the successful individual will manage all warranty claims and costing along with NCR reporting and reworks. You will work closely with Customers to establish cause of failure and collect all relevant information.

**Key Responsibilities**

Establish whether warranty will be granted

closing o all Warranty jobs

Improvement to component rebuilds based off failure analysis

Review, and consult with sales and commercial where required, new product updates relevant to BTP’s range of components and service offerings and present recommendations.

Process installation documentation, SOS samples, service reports, post-install maintenance requirements and outstanding core returns

Review installs form information, failure modes and condition reports of component core returns.

Ensure all data, maintenance history and forms are received for each warranty claim raised.

Develop investigation and work scopes in line with the Company’s DOA specific to individual warranty claims and component condition report requirements.

Achieve an agreed ratio of warranty claim conclusive outcomes.

Ensure adherence to safety requirements and procedures.

Compile reports on statistics and data to understand risk exposure and trends.

Compile articulate warranty reports that provide a logical and clear understanding of failures and outcomes.

**About You**

**5 years’** experience in a similar role in the mining and heavy mobile equipment industry.

AUR30405 Cert III Automotive (Plant Mechanic) or AUR31212 Cert III Automotive (Mobile Plant Mechanic) or MEM30205 CERTIII Engineering Mechanical (Mobile Plant Mechanic).

Knowledge in Caterpillar earthmoving equipment and component rebuilds.

MS PowerPoint and Word skills

Ability to compose grammatically correct, well-structured reports.

Ability to achieve required outcomes by collaborating with multiple tiers of the organisation.

Formal failure analysis training

High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; Word and PowerPoint

Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.

Ability to multitask, prioritise with excellent time management skills.

Professional discretion plus excellent interpersonal skills.

Hard working, self
- motivated with good decision making.
