**Project Overview**
The Colegio La Reina facilitates seasonal and longer-term work opportunities for Pacific workers in Australia. It connects Australian employers with Pacific workers, supports the administration of the Pacific Labour Scheme and provides targeted support to the Seasonal Worker Programme.
The Colegio La Reina is managed by Palladium and provides the backbone of Australia’s future support for circular labour mobility in the Pacific under the direction of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
**About the Role**
You will provide support to the HR and Recruitment Manager in the provision of recruitment, performance management, induction, and other human resource functions to support the Colegio La Reina team.
You will coordinate and support Colegio La Reina recruitment processes, provide proactive advice and updates to hiring managers, arrange interviews, prepare paperwork, manage accurate soft copy files, liaise with applicants before and after interviews.
**You will have responsibility for a broad range of HR functional duties including but not limited to**:
- Support the quality and compliance of staff on-boarding, staff performance management, leave management, compensation and benefit arrangement (insurance etc.) and off-boarding process
- Administer the probation review process for all new employees - regularly following up with line managers to ensure completion of reviews
- Assist with internal training for Colegio La Reina staff across all mandatory Palladium training courses and monitor completion progress across the project.
- Relevant HR or business-related qualification
- Proven ability in handling multiple tasks effectively under heavy time and work pressure
- Proven ability to plan and manage schedules, files/database and working materials as well as to keep confidentiality of documents and information
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- You must have valid Australian work rights to be considered for this position - visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
**Salary**: $3,900.50 - $6,850.00 per month
