NextGen Jobs is hiring a Business Trainee to support the **Department of Education**. Do you have an interest in launching your career in the government while earning a ** Certificate III in Business Administration**?
This ** 12 month traineeship **based in **Moe **provides support to the Schools and Regional Services team to ensure the department can operate in an effective and efficient manner.
**Youth Employment Scheme (YES)**
The YES is a Victorian State Government funded initiative designed to increase the workforce participation of young people, particularly those facing significant barriers to employment. These placements provide trainees with meaningful work experience and formal training to give a solid foundation for a sustainable career. Applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- **Eligibility Criteria**_
- Be aged between 15 and 29 years at the commencement of the traineeship
- Not currently engaged in tertiary education
- Not have attained a university level qualification (excluding 1-4 certificates)
**Position Overview**
The primary purpose of this position is to assist providing administrative support to the relevant teams and offices.

**Key accountabilities**
- Answer and respond to incoming phone call and enquiries
- Receive visitors and clients when they arrive at the office
- Co-ordinate administrative duties and prioritise tasks
- File correspondence and other records
- Process invoices and claims
- General office duties including support for staff events
- Uphold confidentiality for sensitive documentation
- Engage in TAFE studies to receive your qualification
