**About the opportunity**
This role is responsible for leading one of Kennards Hire priority people initiatives for FY23; to develop a Branch Manager role program.
At Kennards Hire, our Branch Managers are empowered to lead and manage their teams to make our customers job easier, whilst delivering on all aspects of branch performance; safety, culture and engagement, quality and financials.
With the vast majority of Branch Managers promoted from within, the current development pathway for a future Branch Manager is through career progression across our branch network.
The Branch Manager role program will provide the opportunity to formalise a targeted development experience that will become a sustainable leadership asset for Kennards Hire. The program together with career progression and on-the-job experience, will accelerate and develop our branch leaders to a best practice standard across the core operational areas of responsibility of the role, as well as leadership capability.
The role will also contribute to other organisational or learning development projects as appropriate.
**About you**
- You will have experience designing impactful role programs, preferably management level roles that include both technical role and leadership skills
- Thrive on partnering with internal and external stakeholders to design and develop operational and leadership modules across a variety of learning channels that support ‘being best’
- Strong ability to achieve through others, with a reliance on extracting the knowledge and experience from others across the business to develop to what ‘being best’ looks like
- Experience working in a decentralised, empowered culture where a leader led philosophy is actively promoted
- Expert in running learning needs analysis and individual learning assessment programs
- Self-driven, down to earth, relational and confident
- You will have a background in either organisational development or learning and development with an emphasis on leadership
- Passionate about delivering business impact where measuring the impact of what you do is part of how you work
