Hatchery Assistant

**About the Job**:
We are looking for dedicated **Hatchery Assistant** to join our team and help assist us with our farm operations. If you’re someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and you’re eager to make a real difference, this opportunity is for you

**What You’ll Do**:
As part of our valuable company, you would be required to:

- **Monitor Chickens**: Regularly engage in counting and keeping track of baby chickens in the hatchery to ensure they are accounted for.
- **Egg handling**:Work with eggs by sorting them based on size, quality, or other criteria and ensure they are handled gently to avoid damage.
- **Prepare and load baby chickens for deliveries**: Get chicks ready for transport by safely placing them in delivery boxes or containers.
- **Cleaning & sanitizing the hatchery**: Perform cleaning tasks to keep the hatchery environment safe and hygienic for the chicks.

**What we need from you**:

- **Have a current driver's license and own reliable transport to get to the job site.**:

- **NOT**have any birds, pigs, or chickens at your place of residence.
- Willing to shower in and out of every shift.
- Willing to relocate to **Goulburn NSW 2580** if required.

**Salary & Job Schedule: What's in it for you?**
- **Wage Rate**:$33.75 per hour.
- **Shift Start**: 8:00 AM from Monday-Friday, shift times may change if required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $33.75 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
