About the Role

**Duties can include but are not limited to**:

- Managing payroll, leave and general HR enquiries for the school.
- Enter and monitor the leave for staff; assist the Deputy Principal and Business Manager in coordinating supply and contract placements for absent staff.
- Co-ordinate and administer the daily supervisions.
- Perform duties associated with keeping accurate records of the school human resources.
- Maintain, update and analyse periodic reports specific to human resource administration.
- Assist the Deputy Principal and Business Manager with recruitment and selection, induction and training of staff and volunteers.
- Assist the Business Manager with support staff workforce skill needs, co-ordinate the delivery of professional development and assist with conducting the annual Developing Performance Framework.
- Coordinate and monitor the schools Blue Card processes for new and existing staff.
- Where necessary provide claims management services including; rehabilitation case management; collating paperwork for WorkCover and QSuper claims and liaising with the Injury Management Team.
- Create and maintain TRACER and casual payments.
- Manage and maintain the Biometric Timeclock system including; printing of timesheets, manual maintenance where required and monitoring of ADO balances.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in all correspondence and administrative documents.
- Co-ordinate work to meet deadlines and commitments and to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Assist with incoming calls and communicate messages and requests to teachers, Admin and support staff.
- Provide quality customer service and perform a range of other administrative support services as directed by the Business Manager or Principal.

**A mandatory requirement of this role is**:

- In accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000 a person is prohibited from working in regulated child-related employment unless the person holds a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
