**The Role**

In this unique role you will lead your team behind the Bar in a 5 star dining experience, high end profile dining and catering, supervision of bar operations and the general day to day tasks of the venue. You will also be responsible for providing a positive environment amongst the team.

In this busy venue you will demonstrate effective time management to ensure the smooth running of each service and department while delivering exceptional customer service.

**To ensure your success in this role you will have**:

- A minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership role in a fine dining environment
- Ability to work 5 days within a 7 day roster with 2 days off in a row
- Passion for providing quality and exceptional customer service
- Significant supervisory experience working in a fine dining environment
- Excellent knowledge of wine, cocktails and mixology
- The ability to achieve business goals, financial budgets and service standards
- Exposure in an upmarket environment - similar quality and standards are expected.
- Complete ability to design and cost for the Bar, functions, special events and canapé menus
- Strong creativity and ability to think outside the square while coaching and developing a team
- Managing associated bar costs including wages, recruitment of staff and general administration duties
- Extensive knowledge and passion about the industry, local competitors and “what’s on trend”
