**Job Description**:
Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort are looking for an experienced leader to fill the role of Hotel Manager in the beautiful Hunter Valley. The role is primarily responsible for Hotel management and overseeing the Food and Beverage operation at Cypress Lakes Resort.

This is the perfect opportunity for an experiences Hotel Manager to add value in a world class hotel and food and beverage outlet with conferencing and events.

**About the role**:

- You will draw on your passion, initiative, drive and strategic approach to deliver a great product for our guests
- Manage the day-to-day profitability, presentation and operation of the entire property
- Manage financial forecasting, rostering, and implementing promotions to increase food and beverage sales
- Developing and managing the property team to reach their highest potential
- Ensure conference/functions packages are fully costed and quoted against predicted revenue to ensure a profit

**Qualifications**:
**To be successful will require the following skills and experience**:

- Demonstrated previous operational and financial management experience within a Hotel, Resort or Food and Beverage environment
- Strategic business acumen and commercial business knowledge
- A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
- People management in recruiting, driving and supporting teams to ensure a high performing team-culture including an extensive portfolio in successful coaching, mentoring and development
- The ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication
- A strong commitment to continuous improvement and learning
