**About us**
Direct Care Australia is a NDIS registered provider and Home Care Package Provider who support NDIS participants, Aged Care participants and private customers each week in their domestic cleaning and household needs.

**About the Role**

To Provide quality service in the delivery of gardening and minor home maintenance services to allocated customers. As a highly visible representative of the organization, the Gardener/Handyperson enhances Direct Care Australia's reputation as a provider of choice through their commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Shifts range from 2-hour upwards.

A reliable vehicle and availability across Mon - Fri is required.

**Essential Criteria**
- Current Driver's License and the ability to travel, Vehicle suitable to carry own equipment.
- NDIS Worker Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- White Card (Not Essential)
- Working at Heights
- Gardening and Home Maintenance experience
- A positive and friendly attitude
- Ability to work independently.
- An understanding of client centered care
- Own tools and equiptment

Also MUST have the following:

- Ability to provide person-centred and consumer-directed care
- Availability to work across 5 days
- Excellent written and spoken language skills and thorough case-noting experience
- An ability to understand, listen, and communicate with people who have limited verbal communication capabilities or who have English as a second language

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
