About the Role
The Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) business unit sits within the Specialist Networks segment of Bapcor and comprises of specialist Commercial Vehicle wholesale and trade businesses including Australian Truck Parts (ATP), Gibbs Truck & Trailer Parts, Truckline, and WANO. ATP is a specialist wholesale distributor of commercial truck, trailer and industrial parts.
The Pricing and Margin Manager position is a pivotal and important role in the ongoing growth and success in the CVG and Bapcor’s Specialist Networks, responsible for delivering optimum pricing strategy to maximise sales and gross margin across multiple sales channels.
Key function of this role includes analysis of customer and product trends, historical data and market conditions.
Oversee the end to end pricing management for the complete product range, sales channels and all customer segments.
Optimise gross margin by developing pricing strategies that drive sales, customer conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
Lead the development and implementation of systems, procedures, data modelling and reporting processes.
Present pricing / margin analysis at monthly meetings, with insights, trends, and market recommendations.
About you
You will have significant experience developing pricing functions and working with processes and exposure to working with the systems and tools to support this process.
This is a role where you will need to “hit the ground running” in a fast paced and growing division. Therefore, proven success in a senior pricing role dealing with a high-volume amount of products is essential.
You will have excellent communication and engagement skills, genuinely team oriented with the ability to work collaboratively with many stakeholders across the business and all levels of reporting.
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills with advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling skills
