**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

We are looking for a passionate, customer experience-focused Bar Supervisor with a strong background in managing high volume nightclubs and or bars.

On top of being a customer focused role, you will have a strong understanding in the responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and associated compliance.

A sound understanding of nightclub and or bar operations is a must, with an intertest in electronic music a plus.

You must possess the drive and desire to help build a multifaceted business coupled with a happy-go-lucky attitude.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, working directly with Club 77 directors and its management team.

You will be expected to:
**Lead in the execution of an outstanding customer experience**:

- Manage, train, and develop bartenders and barbacks in providing an outstanding customer experience, bar service and operations, responsible service of alcohol (RSA) and work health and safety (WHS) practices
- Be able to liaise with staff, customers, and members of the public in a professional, respectful, and friendly manner
- Set high standards for customer engagement and interaction
- Identify enhancements and efficiencies to improve the customer experience
- Promote equality, inclusivity, and diversity

**Manage the operations of the bar**:

- Take responsibility for the operation of the bar
- Take responsibility for the opening and closing procedures of the bar and BOH areas
- Ensure the back bar and fridges are adequately stocked and presented to a high standard
- Ensure the spirit creates are adequately stocked with backup spirits
- Manage cash handling, EFTPOS and POS reconciliation
- Manage the efficiency and accuracy of the POS system
- Ensure the bar and BOH areas are clean and the correct hygiene practices are being adhered to
- Liaise with the General Manager and Duty Manager in controlling wages and labour spend, delivering on or below forecasted budgets
- Provide detailed shift handovers and end of night reports on the operation of the bar, staffing and ways to improve performance

**Manage licensing and compliance**:

- Ensure the bar operates to a high level of compliance, always promoting the licensing objectives of the venue
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol (RSA) guidelines are met and adhered to
- Log incidents in the digital incident register AusComply

**Manage people experience**:

- Induct new bartenders and barbacks
- Provide training and development for bartenders and barbacks
- Actively look for and engage with outstanding bartenders and barbacks, hiring them as required

**Manage stock deliveries**:

- Manage deliveries, ensuring all stock is accounted for and matches the invoice
- Ensure all stock is unpacked and rotated, replenishing the stock in the fridges, back bar and spirit creates
- Maintain the order of the cool room, spirit room and post-mix room, ensuring all stock is stored correctly and neat and tidy

**PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**
- Valid New South Wales responsible service of alcohol certificate
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience of leading a team in a high-volume nightclub and or bar environment
- Experience of working in a fast paced, customer facing environment
- The ability and motivation to work late nights
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A sound knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits

**RENUMERATION**
- Starting salary of between $65,000 to $75,000
- 11.5% superannuation
- Salary review after 12 months

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Bar management: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- RSA (required)
