**Mental Health Lived Experience Worker**

Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a consumer lived experience worker to join the Specialist and therapeutic programs team on a Part Time Ongoing Basis.

This role plays an important role in providing a consumer lived experience perspective into the Mental Health Program service planning, service delivery and evaluation.

**The successful applicant will**:

- Ensure an awareness of the lived experience role within the organisation.
- Work directly with Consumers and relevant LRH staff to assist with the consumer with recovery in a practical, therapeutic and meaningful way across the service including inpatient units as directed
- Sharing of lived experience and help to facilitate of a range of activities (including training) to encourage full participation of both consumer and carers in our mental health services
