**About the role**
We are looking for apprentices in various locations around Melbourne to join our large supportive team of experienced Gas Fitters. Depending on location and/or experience, we are looking for apprentices interested in performing both Gas Safety Checks (Servicing) and Gas Rectifications/Installations (Further Works).
You will get the opportunity to gain great gas experience and set yourself up with your career in Plumbing. You will be required to work in and out of tenants houses and travelling to multiple jobsites a day so willingness to travel and a love of customer relationships is a must
**What you will be doing on a day-to-day**
- Our own bookings team will schedule your day/week
- Travel to multiple job sites with an experienced Gas Fitter
- Communicate with tenants while working in their homes
- Assist with gas safety checks and/or rectifications
- Opportunities to travel and work regionally
- Build knowledge on a range of Type A gas appliances such as cook tops, ovens, gas heaters, hot water systems and many more
**Requirements**:
- We want to hear from all apprentices, but 2nd-3rd year are preferred
- Current VIC driver’s licence and car
- Positive learning attitude and great communications skills
- Experience in gas safety checks or rectifications (or other Heating and Cooling experience) highly regarded.
