**About the role at Citadel Securities**

At Citadel Securities, our traders make complex risk decisions and execute trades at scale, in real-time. As a markets and trading expert, you’ll use predictive analytics and advanced technology to monitor risk, respond to market signals and execute trading strategies across Options, ETFs, Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities and Currencies.

As an intern, you’ll get to challenge the impossible in markets and trading through a program that will allow you to collaborate and connect with a global team. In addition, you’ll get the opportunity to network and socialize with peers throughout the internship.

**Seniority**

Entry Level - A role for someone with underlying potential, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically no direct experience is required.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Investment Model Management - Monitor and maintain the performance of investment models, making changes as needed to meet the investment objectives and to manage risk
- Investment Management - Select, buy, and sell securities to maximize returns and manage risk, and monitor the performance of investments regularly
- Mathematical Modeling - Develop and use mathematical models and statistical techniques to analyze financial data and make investment decisions

- Critical thinking - Identifies and synthesizes patterns and trends amongst various sources of information to reach a meaningful conclusion, perspective or insight
