**About the role**
Join one of BMD's recently awarded major infrastructure projects for Main Roads WA (MRWA) as part of an Alliance team. We are actively seeking a **Structures Lead** to oversee and deliver a key scope of work, including bridge construction and associated structures, as part of a significant multi-year project.

As Structures Lead, you will be responsible for leading a dynamic team, ensuring the successful execution of all works, and managing a substantial scope of structural tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project and make a significant impact within a collaborative and growing team. Our team are currently based in Osborne Park with plans to move to our site office (SOR) later this year.

**Key responsibilities**
- Lead and interface regularly with our design partners to deliver a cost effective, buildable design
- Assist with scope development, quantities and provide support to the overall construction methodology and schedule
- Oversee site establishment and start up activities that relate to your area of control
- Lead and manage a team of experienced engineers and work closely with our onsite supervision
- Interface with other discipline leads to ensure a planned and well sequenced program
- Complete month end reporting, forecasting and budgeting
- Oversee and manage your procurement, plant, equipment and resources
- Conduct short
- and medium-term planning
- Ensure overall quality management including all necessary documentation
- Work collaboratively with our internal stakeholders, subcontractors and local community groups to achieve a best for project outcome.

**About you**
Great people skills and the ability to build trust is a must backed by strong communications skills. You may also:

- Be an experienced Senior Engineer or Structures Lead with previous experience on large scale MRWA projects delivering bridge and associated structures work
- Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve;
- Proven communicator who can lead and positively influence those around them.
