Learning Content Manager

As the Learning Content Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that we develop engaging and compliant materials and resources. This role is a combination of project management, content editing, and learning design. You will work closely with the Learning and Development team, liaising with multiple teams to develop content that is appropriate for the audience. More specifically, design and develop end-to-end learning experiences to enable a diverse range of skill-building and capability enhancement.
ROLE RESPONSIBILTIES
**The core responsibilities of this role are to**:
- Coordinate training content and development updates
- Develop and maintain the content review cycle
- Liaise with external providers (such as Corrections Victoria) to ensure content is current
- Liaise with G4S Group regarding Learning Management System and mandatory content
- Leverage global content locally for consistency and efficiency.
- Oversee the training establishment for new contracts including structure, reporting and managing providers of technical training.
- Create content which meets stakeholder expectations and desired learning outcomes
- Contribute to virtual, online and blended learning solutions to meet required learning outcomes
- Deliver train the trainer on solutions where appropriate
- Manage workflow for educational resource requests, edits, translation, and distribution.
- Identify opportunities to share content and training developed to meet needs across the business
**The essential requirements from you**:
- Demonstrated instructional design of learning content experience
- Experience with diverse learning design principles, including the development of content through supporting authoring tools and related systems
- Understanding of various learning methodologies such as virtual and online learning, blended learning, bite-sized learning formats
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders to shape learning solutions through consultation
- Communication, engagement, negotiation and strategic thinking capabilities
- Effective interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong project management skills and the ability to effectively influence stakeholders
