**The Position**
Scotch College Adelaide, one of Australia’s leading independent schools, seeks to appoint an authentic and inspirational leader to the position of Deputy Principal. The role will provide leadership across its ELC to Year 12 community and realise the strategy for operations and transformation.
Reporting to and working collaboratively with the Principal, as a member of the senior leadership team this key appointment will align the academic, co-curricular and pastoral lives of the College to drive strategic direction. With leadership of the Torrens Park Campus (7-12) the Deputy Principal will lead the growth and sustainability of an exceptional secondary education environment. Critical areas of oversight will include boarding, sport, the performing arts and best practices in child protection.
**The Organisation**
Scotch College Adelaide is an independent, coeducational day and boarding school for students in ELC - Year 12, located on two adjacent campuses in Torrens Park and Mitcham in the inner-southern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1919 by an Act of Parliament and governed by an independent Council, Scotch has an enrolment of approximately 1250 students and more than 250 permanent staff.
The school is currently developing and delivering a strategic intent that seeks to redefine how a globally-minded school can know, nurture and challenge young people as it heads towards 2030.
