Hero Sushi Group is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Assistant Operations Manager. We are currently operating 48 branches of restaurants and kiosks in ACT, NSW, Qld and VIC. Our group serves Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi and other Japanese meals. Experience Required

To qualify for this role, we expect the following from you:

- At least a Bachelor degree in business related field (with preference to Accounting background)
- A minimum of 2 years of practical working experience in business operations, in a hospitality industry setting
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues
- Reliable, responsible, passionate and self-motivated
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of business operations and compliance (hospitality industry)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Bilingual speaker in English and Korean is highly desired

About the role

As our Assistant Operations Manager, you will be working full-time, 5 days a week (38 hours) and you will be responsible for the following:

- Monitoring both new /existing corporate processes and actual practises to ensure ongoing compliance with Australian laws and regulations.
- Performing frequent inquiries / inspections and collecting compliance data from various departments / stores of Hero Sushi Group.
- Preparing reports detailing analysis of compliance in business operations across different Australian states (NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC) to identify business operation strengths and weaknesses.
- Conducting research and reviewing relevant laws and regulations that are applicable to the business a regular basis, to add/ update to new /existing business policy and practises.
- Providing training to new employees of the department and providing supervision when necessary.
- Performing designated tasks assigned by the head of the business planning department.

Remuneration

For this role, we are offering a salary of $70,000 - $ 75,000 superannuation.
