**About Our Client**:
Our client is one of Canberra's largest specialised /general surgery practices. It is conveniently located on The Canberra Hospital campus and has strong links not only to the hospital but to the wider community.
**Financial Tasks**
- Daily Medical Wizard banking reconciliation
- Entering invoices into Xero & making monthly payments including reconciliations
- Distribution payments and transfers
- Invoice doctors TCH & Calvary public VMO invoices
- Banking requirements when needed
- Manage all medical report requests & invoicing
**Other Duties**
- Approve leave, manage rosters
- Main point of contact for administration and medical staff regarding leave.
- Managing rosters
- Appointment of new staff when required
- Perform staff appraisals
- Ensure smooth day to day running of office
- Run / attend meetings
- Review policy and procedures
- Maintain doctors files, ie, insurance, contracts
- Maintain the networks and systems
- Manage health fund fee increases and practice fees schedules
- Ad hock tasks when required to ensure practise runs smoothly
**The Successful Applicant**:

- Have a very strong understanding of Xero
