About the role
Stamford Grand Adelaide is seeking efficient, capable and hardworking Kitchen Hands who will be responsible for maintaining and co-ordinating cleanliness and order in our kitchens. You will ensure the smooth and efficient running of operations by being highly organised, time efficient and working as a part of a team. These positions are available on a casual basis.
Core requirements of your role
This is an important role to ensure operational efficiency within our kitchens, also partnering with our Food and Beverage outlets. In this role, you will be responsible for:
General cleaning activities in kitchens and related areas
Maintaining cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces and hygiene in the kitchen
Cleaning dishes, cooking/catering equipment and utensils etc
Ensuring adequate levels of required items, such as crockery, glassware and cutlery, in all outlets
Maintaining stock levels in kitchens
Minor food preparation activities as delegated by the Executive Chef
Work Health Safety oriented approach to all duties
Follow all safety guidelines and understand HACCP procedures
About you
Previous experience in a similar position - desirable
Ability to work well under pressure
Flexibility around roster hours
