**The Position**:
We are looking for a permanent Recycling Centre Yard Operations Manager. You will be responsible for managing our recycling centre. You will oversee the operation of the recycling centre and ensure everything is working properly and efficiently with a key focus on Safety, Operational Compliance and Centre Presentation. Your duties will be wide-ranging and will cover assisting in the day to day operations of the waste being received and sent out. We require someone who has excellent communication skills and someone who is able to manage a team of employees as you will be in charge of yard labourers, machine operators, material movers and helpers. You will also be tasked with equipment and vehicle maintenance.

**To be considered for this role you must meet the below selection criteria;**
- Experience working at a Recycling Centre / Waste Facility
- Customer service experience and the ability to deal with difficult customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use two-way radio
- Ability to work weekends / rotating shift work
- Commitment to safety
- Hard working and reliable
- Must be able to implement Quality Control
- Must have experience in managing a team

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
