**About the Role**

Reporting to the Directors, you will add value through:

- Managing the end-to-end delivery of goods on time and to order, including planning, despatch and production functions. Overseeing the planning process and production workflow to reduce incidents and delays.
- Building and maintaining a system of quality and efficient production by reviewing procedure documentation, maintaining procedures and managing a continuous improvement framework.
- Maintaining an efficient and safe factory by managing OH&S requirements, assessing risks and leading the team to maintain a consistently clean, tidy and safe workspace.
- Managing the culture and staff by ensuring all supervisors and their staff are aware of their key responsibilities, managing the performance of supervisors and setting clear expectations. Providing performance coaching as well as training and resolving any issues that arise.
- Managing communication with the sales team and customers to ensure strong relationships are developed and information communicated proactively.

**About You**
- What you get a real kick out of is developing your team members to perform at their best. You achieve this through encouragement and seeking to understand what motivates them.
- You have a natural eye for creating efficiencies, in your last role whether it was through process audits or your own analytical thinking you found it fulfilling when you are able to improve processes.
- While you appreciate an office environment, you felt the most satisfied being hands on in your previous management role. Having this highly engaged approach by getting out on the factory floor each day and encouraging the team suits you best.

**Selection Criteria**

To be successful for this incredible opportunity you must have the following:

- Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
