Private consulting firm providing psychological services to the community
- Supportive team with senior HR colleagues to learn from
- Salary circa $85, 000 - $95, 000 package
We’re partnering with a private consulting firm that delivers a range of specialist psychological services to government, private and not-for-profit organisations. They work with some of the most marginalised people in the community, helping get their lives back on track through alcohol and drug counselling, specialised services for youth, and behaviour change programs.
We’re looking for a P&C Advisor to join the team and provide hands-on HR and Recruitment support to the team. This role would suit an experienced HR Coordinator wanting to step up into an Advisor role, or a Recruiter wanting to broaden their generalist HR knowledge.
There is plenty of opportunities for you to partner with the senior members of the HR team, to shadow them, and be mentored. The business is also very welcoming of new ideas, so if you have a knack for process improvement and creating efficiencies, you will certainly have the opportunity to do so.
Reporting into the People & Culture Manager, some of your key responsibilities will include;
- Providing day-to-day advice to managers and employees on policies, procedures, processes and relevant legislation, including FairWork.
- Create role position descriptions against departmental and organisational requirements.
- Generating HR metrics and reports, including the opportunity to create dashboards.
- Utilise the relevant HRIS systems to ensure employee records are maintained. This includes ensuring compliance with the administration and maintenance of policies, procedures, records and documents.
- Generating contracts, letters of offer, onboarding and managing quarterly induction processes.
- Working with the HR Business Partners to support with HR projects and initiatives.
- Shadowing ER cases with the HR Business Partner should this be an area of interest for you.
- 2-4 years of HR experience including managing recruitment.
- An excellent level of attention to detail.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline.
- Ability to work autonomously and be resourceful in nature.
- An interest and passion in values-driven work.
You’ll be joining a truly passionate and dedicated team that absolutely love what they do. We're looking for a P&C Advisor that shares their same values, and has a key passion for HR. Not to mention you’ll enjoy a true work-life balance (with very flexible working arrangements) and the team is friendly, fun and relaxed.
