THE ROLE
**Work location**: GSO Dandenong / Hybrid arrangement
Housing Services Officers play a vital role in supporting the delivery of client-centered services to individuals and families who seek housing assistance or reside in public housing.
Housing Services Officers are part of a network of community workers and organisations that share the responsibility for working with vulnerable people to promote and support their wellbeing. Based in offices across the state, the role undertakes a range of tasks relating to tenancy and property management and the provision of housing advice and assistance.
Housing Service Officers at Classification 1 are developing these competencies to progress to a Housing Services Officer Classification 2 at the point when they are fully competent across the assigned housing functions.
