Position Description

Sales Rep:

- Acquires new customers by reaching out to leads
- Researches customer’s individual or business purchase needs
- Serves existing customers
- Adjusts sales tactics
- Resolves customer complaints and queries
- Submits sales orders
- Informs management of sales actions
- Maintains sales goals and plans
- Completes market research and monitors competitor activities
- Makes recommendations for customers
- Establishes, develops and maintains positive business relationships to ensure future sales
- Maintains documentation of customer contacts and account updates
- Keeps abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improves through feedbacks

About the role

We are looking for motivated and driven individuals to join us to meet our ongoing growth requirements. Your main duties would be identifying new customers and business opportunities, maintain existing customer relationships, building strong and effective working relationships.

Tasks & responsibilities

Achieving revenue

Hunt for new customers and new business opportunities, maximise sales opportunities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers

Assist customers with orders, pricing and any other general inquiries, translate their requirements into practical products solutions.

Report fortnightly on pipeline and activities.

Strong customer focus with confidence, initiative, enthusiasm, ambition and a willingness to learn, along with:
Sales experience within industrial supplies industry and/or construction industry

Product/technical knowledge, advantageous

Exceptional communication and organisational skills

Capability in meeting deadlines and a strong desire to succeed

Team player attitude who will "jump in" and help the team meet its objectives

Ability to work autonomously

A desire to drive improved results

Necessary computer skills

A valid driver's license

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
