About the Role

Based in Smithfield you will report to the Maintenance Manager and join a small and skilled team. To be successful you will have a keen eye for detail, technical aptitude and experience in a process driven environment will be highly regarded. This is a dynamic role that requires a hands-on and energetic person with a high level of organization and the ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining safe work practices and following procedure.

Responsibilities include:
- Maintain the Grease and Lubrication on production machines- Complete Trade Assistant PM Checks- Assist the Maintenance Team with Work Orders- Maintaining a clean factory and surrounding area at all times- Work in a safe manner by complying with all health and safety policies, procedures and guidelines- Ensure all processes are followed accurately

About You

To be successful in this role you will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve a consistently high standard of work. A high level of communication and attention to detail are key to your success in this role. You will be able to demonstrate the following:
- General knowledge of oils and lubrications- Forklift license required- EWP and Confined Space preferred- Current driver's license- Be able to work independently and as part of a team and have sound judgment skills- The ability to adapt and change, within a very short time scale- Sound understanding of WH&S with a strong focus and commitment on safety, quality and environment- A good level of fitness- Planning and organisational skills
