Store Person/forklift Driver

**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our **Salisbury** team as a **Store Person**. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally_ _recognised brands.

While offering exemplary service to ensure all staff have their consumable requirements such as PPE and other equipment for the site, you will also be working in our central store, ensuring there is a continuous supply of consumable materials to the Salisbury manufacturing site.

We work a work/life balance with a rotational shift of 6am
- 2pm, and 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
- offering a base hourly rate of **$27.75** **an hour** plus superannuation and a yearly bonus to increase your take home salary

No previous experience in warehousing or operations is necessary as you will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities.

**What Will You Do?**

Whilst ensuring the safety of yourself and your co-workers, you will:

- unload trucks (consumable products)
- ensure reliable, valuable and continuous supply of materials to the Salisbury manufacturing site
- ensure goods and services are received according to specified quality, quantity and cost as per relative purchase order
- expedite where and when required to meet demands to limit production down time impact
- stocktake of the consumable products
- assist staff for all PPE equipment as needed
