Job Title: Furniture Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative
We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Furniture Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to become a crucial part of our Furniture Warehouse team. As a Furniture Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative, your primary role will involve executing tasks in the warehouse, such as receiving, storing, and meticulously picking and packing goods. Your dedication will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and efficient completion of all tasks, contributing to a seamless delivery process. **Responsibilities**:
- Safely and efficiently deliver furniture to customers' homes in a timely manner
- Handle and load furniture items with care to ensure they reach their destination in perfect condition
- Receiving goods and checking for damages and discrepancies
- Sorting, labeling and storing products in their designated areas
- Preparing orders for shipment by picking, packing and labeling products
- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintaining inventory and conducting regular stock checks
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies
**Requirements**:
- Valid MR driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in furniture or large-item delivery preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
- Previous warehouse experience an advantage
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
**Job Type**: Full Time
**Salary**: $34.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

- Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- MR Driving Licence (preferred)

- Australia (required)
