**Product Development Specialist - Health and Wellness Supplements**

**Job Location: Australia (Remote)**

**Role Overview**:
The freelancer will support the brand in developing and producing private-label health and wellness supplements, with a focus on quality, compliance, and market viability. Working on a commission basis, they will help the brand navigate the Australian health and wellness market, manage production, and ensure regulatory compliance. Their role includes sourcing, formulation, and overseeing the production process to deliver high-quality, market-ready products.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Product Development and Formulation:

- Collaborate with the brand to create unique supplement formulations based on target market needs, ensuring they align with the brand's vision.
- Advise on ingredient selection, dosage, and combinations for maximum efficacy and consumer appeal.

2. Supply Chain and Production Oversight:

- Identify and liaise with reputable manufacturers and suppliers in Australia.
- Coordinate the production process, ensuring quality control at each stage, from ingredient sourcing to packaging
- Negotiate competitive pricing and production timelines.

3. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance

4. Brand Collaboration and Product Launch Support:

- Work closely with brand teams on packaging design, branding, and messaging to align with brand aesthetics and goals.
- Assist with launch strategies, including recommended channels, pricing, and promotional tactics.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in product development within the health and wellness or supplement industry.
- Strong network with Australian manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and regulatory consultants.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian regulations, specifically TGA standards for dietary supplements.
- Excellent project management skills with attention to quality and detail.

**Skills**:

- Expertise in formulation and product sourcing.
- Strong negotiation skills for vendor and manufacturer agreements.
- Market analysis capabilities to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Knowledgeable in eco-friendly packaging and sustainable practices.

**Commission Structure**:

- Commission-based, structured around milestones such as formulation approval, production launch, and sales performance.
