The Head of Strategic Partnerships will play a central role in making Novartis Australia’s vision a reality.
Key Responsibilities:

- As Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will be responsible for strategy development, operational implementation, and functional leadership across all partnership activities.
- You will lead our organisation in developing the strategy, external partnerships and solutions that address key barriers in the patient’s journey through the healthcare system. And by doing so you will deliver better outcomes for patients, a stronger, more sustainable healthcare system and value for Novartis.
- Innovation is a core principle of agile leadership, and you will be an Agile leader who fosters innovation by challenging how we think about risk-taking and failure.
- You will encourage an experimental mindset within the Strategic Partnership team and broader organisation
- Using agile and innovation methodology and principles this role will be instrumental in providing structured ways of working to accelerate the delivery of value to customers.
- As a member of the Value, Access & New Product Planning lead team, you will work within the team to bring to life our aspirational objective of “deliver faster and broader access to healthcare in Australia” through embedding a culture where we are connected to vision, focused on collaboration and coach for growth.
- Leads diverse teams with broad accountabilities and is responsible for embedding an Unbossed, Curious, Inspired and Integrity culture through coaching, development, and leadership.

**Minimum requirements**

What you will bring to the role:

- Influential and strategic leadership: experience leading high-performing teams and taking complexity, distils into a clear path forward and then communicates a compelling value story based on strategy.
- Breadth of experience across multiple functions in pharma or healthcare industries
- Customer-obsessed, partnership focus: Engages in a continuous learning journey with customers to identify current and future opportunities and insights.
- Lead through ambiguity: Maintains ambition and drive to achieve results whilst working in an environment where the path towards these outcomes is often unclear
- Innovative and Courageous: A visionary view that allows the development of transformative solutions that solve customer and patient needs.
