**The Role**
Joint Transition Authority (JTA) Transition Coaching and Support (TCS) is seeking two Transition Centre Managers at the APS 5 level based in Canberra, ACT and Darwin, NT. The Transition Centre Manager oversees the delivery of the needs based Defence Force Transition Program in the ACT and NT. The Transition Centre Manager will be responsible for leading a team of APS, ADF and contracted staff in NT and ACT to provide transition and career coaching services to transitioning ADF members.

Responsibilities include staff management and conducting transition coaching sessions, inclusive of complex cases. Liaison with key stakeholders including Command, ADF members and families is a key role of the position. The Transition Centre Manager will work with the Seminar Team to coordinate delivery of local ADF Member and Family Transition Seminars (face to face) and coordinate contribution to the virtual offerings. The position reports to the TCS Regional Leads.

**About our Team**
JTA TCS delivers the Defence Force Transition Program, designed to support members and their families plan for civilian life after leaving Defence. Participation in the transition process is mandatory for all ADF members regardless of the reason for leaving. The Defence Force Transition Program provides access to specialist advice, paid leave and training to support members and their families in their transition to civilian life. Access to the needs based program is supported by a Transition Coach.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
- Experience in case management, life/career coaching or similar.
- A proven ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally, both in perrson and using digital platforms.
- Willingness to undertake further training as required.
- Have experience or knowledge regarding JTA TCS programs and services.

Ex-Military personnel with a minimum of 4 years of service (with the last day of service being no more than 5 years prior) who have training and/or experience in building and leading teams and organisational skills are also encouraged to apply.
