Acer Computer Australia has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and results-driven Product Management Assistant who will focus on supporting the dynamic Sydney-based Product Management team of a global IT company.

- **Key responsibilities include (but are not limited) to**:_
- Uploading new products into forecasting system, maintain and manage product database as well as external ecommerce database/ordering catalogue
- Working closely with internal teams to manage product delivery.
- Preparing reports on product sales and shipments as well as statistical data on competitor product reviews including product line positioning
- Collating price books for submission to internal teams and uploading in internal portals
- Working with Product Managers to maintain a competitive portfolio, including pricing and range selection
- Preparing, conducting, and / or participating in product design reviews, presentations and demos (as and when required)
- Conducting market research on products and leverage market feedback and trends as well as competitive intelligence to identify and develop new plans, products, and services
- Managing and maintaining processes for product certification in line with legislative and other government body requirements
- Implementing policies / standards to improve the quality and efficiency of Product Management Group services
- Regularly identifying opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives
- **Required skills and experience include (but are not limited to)**:_
- A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is an advantage
- At least 3+ years’ experience in a customer service, marketing, sales support or similar role
- A background on IT products and familiarity with ecommerce and social media marketing is preferred
- Intermediate level in Excel spreadsheets and data entry is a requirement
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, SSH and telnet client, IBM lotus Notes, Web-based user interface
- Must possess an understanding of business, marketing, and sales operations
- Highly motivated with excellent business data and research administration skills
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills as well as customer relations
- Ability to work in a team and as well as independently across all levels of the organisation
- Fast learner / resourceful with good project management skills
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
