Alevo’s products are Australian-made, covering three well-known internationally recognised brands - Athlegen, Centurion and Forme Medical, at the core of our business we create medical and alternate therapy treatment tables that raise the bar for professional practice and lower the stress for clinicians and their patients across the globe.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Fabrication and Assembly**:Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to accurately determine job requirements, including material selection and tools needed.
- **Material Preparation**: Select, clean, and prepare metal stock by marking out sections according to technical specifications.
- **Cutting and Shaping**: Use hand tools, flame cutting torches, and metal cutting machines to cut marked-out metal sections and shapes. Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using both hand and machine tools, as well as by heating and hammering.
- **Alignment and Assembly**: Align parts to be joined using hand tools, clamps, and precise measuring instruments to ensure correct positioning before assembly.
- **Welding and Joining**: Join metal sections using various welding techniques, as well as bolting and riveting, to fabricate products that meet industry standards.
- **Inspection**: Examine welds for width of bead, penetration, and precision, ensuring all joins meet required specifications and quality standards.
- **Finishing**: Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing, and bathing in acidic solutions to remove impurities and achieve a smooth, clean surface.
- **Weld Smoothing**: Clean and smooth welds by filing, chiseling, and grinding, ensuring a professional finish and adherence to safety standards.
- **Machine Operation**: Operate and maintain fabrication equipment such as presses, guillotines, and rollers, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- **Health and Safety**: Strictly adhere to workplace health and safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of tools and materials.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct final inspections of completed products, identifying any defects or areas for improvement and making necessary adjustments.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work safely and effectively with other trades and team members in the workplace.
- **Problem-Solving**: Identify and address problems and risks efficiently.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (mandatory).
- At least 2 years of experience in metal fabrication, with proven skills in welding, cutting, and assembly.
- Strong understanding of metalworking techniques, including the ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work precisely and efficiently.
- Experience with various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.) and familiarity with metal cutting and shaping equipment.

- Must be a resident in Australia with full work rights.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a demanding environment.
