Bondi Boulangerie – Bondi Beach

We are looking for a Barista All-Rounder / Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who is not only an exceptional barista but also ready to take ownership of daily operations and lead by example. Tuesday to Saturday 6AM to 2:30PM.

You will:

  • Deliver consistently great coffee and lead the barista station during service.
  • Supervise FOH operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards across the team.
  • Manage daily ordering, stock rotation, and inventory control.
  • Take responsibility for store presentation, cleanliness, and compliance.
  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure every guest feels welcome.
  • Support training and mentoring of junior staff, fostering a positive and productive culture.
  • Be proactive in identifying and solving problems before they escalate.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven barista experience (minimum 2 years in a high-volume café or bakery).
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in leading a team.
  • Excellent customer service with the ability to build genuine rapport with regulars.
  • Experience with ordering, stock management, and basic admin processes.
  • Proactive, reliable, and organised — someone who takes initiative and ownership.
  • A "hands-on" leader who is just as comfortable making coffees as they are guiding the team.
  • Ideally, familiarity with hospitality operations in Australia (awards, compliance, rostering).
