**About Local Freight**

Local Freight is a progressive family-owned transport company servicing metro and North Queensland with a fleet of 55+ trucks and trailers. We carry a wide mix of general freight including various types of constructions materials, fertilisers. We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Accounts / Customer Service Officer to join our operations based at Wacol Depot.

**About the Role**:
The main duties of this role are:

- Wacol based.
- Casual leading to Full time permanent Employment.
- Be the first answer point to customers.
- Entering booking details into booking system.
- Checking incoming freight for weight and dimensions accuracy.
- Measuring and labelling unlabelled freight.
- provide logistics support to our clients.
- Opportunity to be groomed as Accounts Administrator.

To be successful in this role you will:

- Prior experience in freight industry an advantage.
- enjoys working in a team environment.
- have a commitment to providing a high level of client satisfaction.
- be available for work from 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday.
- be competent in Microsoft Office.
- knowledge of Xero highly advantageous.

Attractive salary 55k to 65k + Super, in line with experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
