**Logistics Tech - Remote**

**Role Summary**

We are looking for a motivated Logistics Tech to execute and facilitate the daily supply chain needs of CDS.

Logistics Technicians work with the Logistics team and the Technical Support team to help deliver service and support to our Global customer base enabling CDS to provide optimum customer satisfaction.

The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency

**Responsibilities**
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
- Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
- Prepares inventory for shipment, pick, pack and ship functions
- Takes steps to avoid quality control issues
- Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
- Oversees inventory levels are kept current
- Audit, Test and Receive in Purchase orders
- Follow shipping compliance for internationally and domestic shipments
- Schedule and coordinate pickups and drop offs
- Manage a high volume of administrative work while keeping self-organized

**Job Requirements**

Education - Technical School graduate or equivalent experience

Experience - Logistics/Supply Chain Work Experience

Knowledge / Skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Organizational strengths and a procedural mindset with an understanding of quality management principles.
- Ability to analyze data and understand connections.
- Talent for recognizing opportunities for process improvement in those connections.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain preferred.
- 2-years of experience in logistics, IT, or supply chain related fields required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office such as excel and word.
- Able to lift above 65lbs.
- Flexible schedules such as nights or weekends. Overnight shift flexibility preferred.
- On-call scheduling availability required.
