We are currently hiring for a professional and reliable **Warehouse Team Leader** to join our team at our Eastern Creek fulfilment centre. As a **Warehouse Team Leader** your role is critical to the success of our business where you will be challenged daily to improve areas of safety, efficiency, performance, culture and customer experience.

**The Opportunity**

**We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader on a full-time permanent basis to join our PM Shift which operates between 3pm and 11pm.**

**What you’ll be doing**
- Lead by example to drive a safety-first culture. You are responsible for ensuring all Work Health Safety (WHS) standards are the highest priority within your team and any hazards/incidents are reported correctly in our SafetyCulture system and resolutions escalated or actioned in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the Supervisor and Warehouse Manager to ensure that the business requirements such as Packfast, CPO, etc are met daily.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in the overall running of the fulfilment centre.
- Motivate Team Members to achieve KPIs whilst not compromising on quality or safety.
- In conjunction with the Supervisor and Warehouse Manager, you will evaluate Team Members' performance and assist with performance assessment and development against KPIs.
- Ensure all Team Members are following our standard operating procedures (SOPs) and any new processes/policies are understood, embedded and adhered to in our ways of working.
- Act as an escalation point for any issues that arise on shift and escalate further based on complexity and urgency.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and work with the Warehouse Manager to implement solutions leading to better outcomes for the team and overall shift.
- Responsible for onboarding and training new Team Members to the highest standards.
- Provide daily team briefings to facilitate expected shift outcomes.
- Perform any reasonable ad-hoc tasks that need to be completed such as packing desk audits, QA checks, etc, and ensure they are entered into proper forms.
- Ensure that the warehouse floor remains clean and organised and void of any hazards.
- Complete end-of-shift reports accurately.
- Execute end-of-day tasks such as housekeeping to ensure a smooth transition for the next shift.

**About you**
- Experience in a similar team leader role in a fast-paced warehouse environment (B2C or eCommerce preferred).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with individuals and in cross-functional teams.
- The ability to keep your finger on the pulse by supervising your team over a large work space, and always monitoring team's performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Safety focused with general knowledge of WHS policies and procedures.
- High attention to detail and confidence to execute decisions.
- Can do attitude, reliability, commitment and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Forklift licence desirable.
